Dr. Peter E. Hein is a founding partner and Managing Director of Doric Asset Finance & Verwaltungs GmbH. Within the Doric Group he is responsible for
Asset Management, Controlling, HR, Legal and Risk Management.
Peter joined Doric from his role as a finance and banking partner with the international law firm Allen & Overy, resident in New York. Prior to joining Allen & Overy in 1996 he was a partner with the German law firm Bruckhaus Westrick & Stegemann in Frankfurt am Main.
During his career he has advised in a leading role on over 300 asset finance transactions as well as on the development of energy projects. He also has long term experience in regulatory and banking supervision matters. His main clients included international financial companies, banks and large equipment manufacturers.
Peter received his doctorate in law from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn.

Mark Lapidus is a founding partner and Managing Director of Doric Asset Finance & Verwaltungs GmbH. Within the Doric Group he is responsible for
Origination, Structuring, Finance and Quantitative Analysis.
Mark began his career with GE Capital in Chicago in 1985, engaged in leasing investments into corporate jets, truck fleets, and industrial equipment. Between 1990 and the beginning of 2005 he was a Managing Director with Citibank’s Global Asset Finance Group based in London and Madrid. His responsibilities included: sourcing and arranging transactions for European and Japanese equity investments into aircraft, ships, commercial real estate, and industrial facilities for corporate and High Net Worth clients and on behalf of Citigroup itself.
Mark is an Economics graduate of DePaul University and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Bernd Reber is a founding partner and Managing Director of Doric Asset Finance & Verwaltungs GmbH. Within the Doric Group he is responsible for

PR, Marketing, Distribution and Fund Administration.
Prior to Doric, Bernd headed Citigroup's Structured Asset Finance Team in Germany and was Managing Director of a number of Citigroup subsidiaries.
Bernd began his career with the graduate training program at Bayerische Landesbank in Munich and London. In 1990 he moved to Citigroup in Frankfurt where he worked as a tax advisor and became certified as a tax consultant. Following a move to Structured Asset Finance, Bernd headed up the German team, building the German closed-end fund business for Citigroup.
Bernd is an Economics graduate of Regensburg University.
