Doric Asset Finance & Verwaltungs GmbH (“Doric”) offers a further investment opportunity in the alternative energy sector: the Doric Green Power fund.

Asset
The investment offer is an opportunity to invest together with Doric in projects, companies and capital market instruments in the Renewable Energy as well as Waste-to-Energy sector. The fund focuses on investments in photovoltaic solar energy, solar thermal, biomass, geothermal and hydro energy plants.

Doric Green Power plans to fund projects (typically through project vehicles) as well as co-investing in companies in the alternative energy sector, which could include investments in plant construction or operation. Certificates and other capital market instruments, which are based on Renewable Energy or Waste-to-Energy, can also be acquired by the fund.

Concept
Projects in the alternative energy sector often have long lead times. The site and the supply of raw materials need to be secured, technical plans need to be certified and planning permission granted. With funding in place at an early stage the fund can act quickly and thereby gain an important head start when securing projects. Early access to funds allows the fund to act quickly and thereby gain an important advantage over the competition. As some projects have relatively small investment volumes, they are combined in this portfolio and managed jointly for greater efficiency.

Doric invests
Doric Asset Finance is not only investing through its subsidiary Doric Power GmbH, but also as a limited partner (EUR 500,000). Doric's remuneration is partially success dependent, since investors will receive their invested capital as well as average distributions of 7% p.a. before Doric is remunerated.

Economics
With expected total distributions of 189% (incl. capital repayments) over twelve years, Doric Green Power represents an attractive investment in alternative energy.
